Naomi, Steven and Vanessa are all cancer patients who have been fighting for their lives for years now. While Naomi who is only 8 years old has stopped being a child due to the disease, Vanessa and Steven who are young adults have stopped dreaming of what their lives could be and should be. The active years of their lives have been spent hoping to wake up and be strong enough to go to work or school like everyone else.
We heard about all three cases and while the best we can do is pray for God to touch them with his miracle working hand, we also went to their bedside to remind them that they are not in this battle alone.
Each visit left every SD member with a broken heart but also a heart of deeper gratitude for the health we have.

Remember that no one is in good health by their own doing but by God’s Grace.
