Visiting the Mbouo orphanage in March was definitely a blessed way to start our year of donations. After visiting multiple orphanages over the years, we can say with conviction that it’s more than just bringing food items to orphans.
Walking into an orphanage is more than just walking to help refill their stock of food. At first you think you are going to donate some of your time and money but you truly are going to receive genuine joy, love and compassion.

You walk in with items that have a price attached to it and leave with lessons that cannot be bought in any market.
You walk in with several life boxes to check and leave with the sole desire to be happy and make others happy.
Our visit at the Mbouda orphanage had the same  magical power all orphanages have.
It’s true that in today’s malicious society, some orphanages cannot be trusted, however once you do your due diligence and find a legitimate one, please do not hesitate to walk in. You will be impacting their lives but yours too.
